a snapshot, and view where files are stored. In video viewing, the
view screen ratio can be selected from the Video size drop-down list
(Fit, Full, 1x, 1/2x, 1/4x). Fit mode allows the video to be the size of
the window without changing the aspect ratio; Full mode spreads
over the entire window and the aspect ratio changes with the size of
the window; 1X maintains the full resolution of the video and 1/2X
and 1/4X reduces the resolution by ½ or ¼, respectively. Users can
also select the Play mode as “Live” or “Fluid” per the scene; Fluid
will produce a smoother image.

Surveyor MKII HD series domes support local PC recording. Click

Note:
The motion detection and privacy mask settings can only be
set in the Live view settings interface when the motion detection and
privacy mask functions are enabled in the Audio video interface,.
Refer to the sections 3.5.3 and 3.5.4 for details.
In the Live view interface, users can perform PTZ control, call up
PTZ functions and conduct image PTZ operations. Refer to Chapter
IV for details.
Click the “Setting” button at the top of the screen to enter the System
Settings interface.

From the left navigation bar, the user can check the system
information, including time settings and advanced settings, network
settings, camera settings, video and audio settings, PTZ functions,
schedules (time functions), alarm settings, record settings, user
management (add/delete user, change password), and view the
system log operations.
3.2 System
Click “System” in the left navigation bar and the system setting
interface is shown as in Figure 3-3. The system interface includes 3
options: System, Time, and Advanced.
3.2.1 System Settings
The initial interface for system setting is the “System” interface.
From the interface, users can see the setting information of the
system, including: basic information, network settings, alarm
settings, NTP settings, H.264 video settings, MJPEG video settings,
and other information (including temperature, humidity).
3.2.2 Time Settings

Time zone settings
Time zone: select the proper time zone in the drop-down list. There
are 33 time zones available.
If daylight saving time is used in the location, users can enable the
option “Daylight saving time”.
Click the “Save” button to finish the setting.
Time format settings
Select the time format from the drop-down as MMDDYYY,
DDMMYYYY or YYYYMMDD. Also select the time format from
24 hour or 12 hour
NTP set
Set NTP server IP, Sync time interval parameters and to turn sync on
(enable) or off.
After the settings, click the “Save” button to finish the setting.
