3.3.1 Network
IP mode: The IP mode supports IPv4 and IPv6. The configuration
network parameters will differ depending on the mode selected.

In the Network setting interface (as shown above), users can open
(On) and close (Off) DHCP. When DHCP is closed, manually set IP
address, subnet mask, gateway and IP address of the DNS server.
There is a test button to check if the IP address entered is in use.
Note: When the Network setting is successful, the system indicator
will flash for about 5 seconds. For Port settings, enter the host name;
it is recommended to leave the default settings for the port numbers
unless your system requires them to be changed.
PPPoE function can be enabled/disabled in the interface. When the
PPPoE function is enabled, the dialing user name and password must
be set in the interface. IP address is assigned by the PPPoE server
Telnet service can be turned On or Off as required.
3.3.2 FTP

Surveyor MKII HD series domes support the function of alarm
associated FTP image unloading (automatically capture images when
alarm occurs). Set the server IP, user name and password for login in
the FTP setting interface. Then activate the alarm associated FTP
uploading function in the alarm setting interface to activate the FTP
image uploading function upon alarms.
3.3.3 SMTP

The domes support the function of alarm associated email sending.
The email server and receiver information are set in the SMTP setting
interface.

Server IP : Set mail server address.

From: Set sender’s mail address.

To: Mail address of recipient.

CC: Mail address of a person to receive a copy.

Authentication : Enable or disable authentication function. This
function should be set according to authentication requirements
of mail server.

User name : Sender’s name; this can be set according user’s
needs.

Password : Set sender’s password.
If user selects “Mail” in “Alarm Settings” interface, system will send
emails according to SMTP settings.
