Alarm configuration
The dome supports 4 alarm inputs and 1 alarm output (I/O Out 1).
Users can set the status of each alarm input: Grounded Circuit or
Open Circuit options.
Alarm out contact:
Set the transfer mode of the alarm signal: “Local contact” or “Net
contact” options.
Local contact:
I/O output is triggered by I/O alarm input, motion
detection, SD card out, network break, etc. The default alarm out
contact is “Local contact”.
Net contact:
I/O output is controlled by the surveillance
management software. Note: This function works together with the
Digital Video Surveillance Management Software. If “Net contact”
is selected, users must set the IP of the Alarm server as the server IP
of the system. After the necessary settings in software, users can
control the relay switches remotely via the software. For detailed
setting information, see the appropriate Digital Video Surveillance
Management Software Operation Manual.
Alarm server IP: set the IP of the alarm server.
Alarm Out Contact
Users can set the responding action of each switch signal alarm input,
motion detection, SD card out, network break, etc. with the options:
I/O out 1 (when the “Net contact” is selected, this option is
unavailable), Mail, FTP, SD card, Audio, Select all. Press the “Save”
button to activate the settings.
Alarm Schedule
The alarm effective time can be set. Users can select the alarm period.
For example, if Sunday is checked, then on each Sunday, the alarm
settings will be in effect in the set time; if Everyday is selected, then
the alarm settings will be in effect in the set time every day. The alarm
time period is set up in 24 hour format (hour: minute). The end time
must be after the start time. Press the “Save” button to activate the
settings.
3.9 Record
Click the Record button on the navigation bar to display the interface
shown as below:

The record interface contains two tab pages: Settings and Playback.
3.9.1 Setting Recording Parameters
Recording video type: select the stream to be recorded, Primary
stream and Secondary stream.
SD card full: Select what happens when the SD card is full from
Overwrite and Stop options. In overwrite mode: when the SD card is
full, the new recordings will overwrite the old ones. In Stop mode:
when the SD card is full, the recording will stop automatically.
Recording control: set the recording mode; choose from “Alarm
triggered”, “Always”, or “Close” options. When the “Alarm
triggered” mode is selected, and the setting of alarm associated with
SD card is set in the alarm interface, when alarm occurs, recording is
triggered automatically.
Peripheral equipment manage: users can check the status of the SD
card and format the card. If users want to unplug the card during
operation, click the “Enable” button for “SD card operation”. Click
the Format button to format the card. All data will be lost from the
card when it is formatted.
