Preset Titles
The system allows either preset or sector titles, but not both. Use the Preset -or- Sector Title Edit Enable
screen to specify whether the configuration file will contain preset titles or sector titles. The wording of the
third menu item on the Display Titling screen reflects the choice made in the Preset-or-Title Edit Enable
screen; if “Edit Sector Titles Fixed Preset Display” is chosen, this section is not applicable.
Preset titles are usually used to identify the scene displayed on a monitor when a pan-and-tilt drive is directed
to a preprogrammed position. The system allows 80 preset positions for each of the 256 receiver/domes in
the CCTV system. The first 16 of these 80 presets may have a unique, single-line title of up to 9 characters.
Depending upon the preset numbers in a system, the first 16 presets may or may not be preset numbers 1-
16. For example, a system may only be using presets 1, 19, 55, 56 and 57. In this case, all five presets could
be titled.
