Chapter 4: Using Web Manager for Configuration

Edge 5000 Installation / Configuration Guide

User Define Rings (RTTTL)

•

Add and delete user-defined rings (RTTTL text format), see Appendix G.  The
Browse button can be used to find and upload an RTTTL file for use.  The RTTTL
file must be uploaded before it can be assigned for use as the Ring Type.  Up to
five (5) RTTTL ring types, no greater than 512 characters, may be stored in the IP
Phone.

To modify Phone Setting parameters:

•

Select the parameter.

•

Enter the new value or select a value from the drop-down menu.

•

When complete select

NOTE

:

Changing DTMF Payload, Frame Duration or DTMF Relay requires a reboot of the IP Phone.
When you leave the menu, you will receive a Reboot notice. The IP Phone must reboot to utilize
the new values entered.
