Clicking the gear on the Control or Graph screen returns the GUI to this  
 Configuration screen.  On the Configuration screen, it has no functionality.

Clicking the question mark opens a help section.

Click to close the TCD-3 GUI program.

8.  Detector Status

 info box 

This box is empty until communication has been established.  Then it will 
display one of the messages below:

Detector not found

The detector unit was not sensed by the TCD-3  
controller.  Check that the detector unit is connected 
to the controller, and that both cables are fully seated 
in their sockets.

Temperature not yet stable

The detector has not yet reached full temperature 
stability.  Note that the minimum time to stability is 
30 minutes.

Detector stable

The detector has reached thermal stability, and is 
ready for analysis.
