HYDRAULIC WINDSHIELD SYSTEM HWS

CYLINDER HWS
It is the element in charge of pushing the “Climbing
Head HWS”. Its working load is 50kN.
It is fixed to the “ Head LT HWS” by a “Connection Pin”
(already incorporated in the “ Head LT HWS” ) and a
“ Bottom Fixing Pi n” avoids it from getting out of its
position.

HYDRAULIC POWER UNIT HWS
The “ Power Unit” (PU) is the element in charge of
pumping the oil to the cylinders. It includes 2
independent outputs, which are capable to activate up
to 4 cylinders at the same time.
Thanks to an incorporated trolley, the PU is portable
and can easily be moved throughout the building to lift
up the HWS sets.
The retraction and extension of the “ Cylinders HWS” is
made by activation handles. Each handle controls one
of the two outputs of the” Power Unit” .
Every movement of the lifting process is controlled by
the “ Power Unit” .
2.2.7. PUSH-PULL PROPS
Elements used to complete the HWS structure. They are
connected to the central hole line of the walers by “ Pins
E20x70” and “ Cotter Pins R/5”.
