If you want the screen to be recalibrated, click the
“
Calibrate
”
button. 5 boxes appear on a white screen
with 2 second intervals. The center of the box is kept pressed with the help of a pencil until the next box
appears on the screen. If the calibration was successful when the box in the center of the screen is touched
in the last step, an information message about this will appear on the screen and the calibration screen will
be exited.
Buzzer setting:
When the “
BUZZER
” button is clicked, the submenu for the buzzer
-related settings is opened. There are 4
different buttons in the submenu. Two of them are the test button. Buzzer has two different tones. The
“
Low Freq
” and “
High Freq
” buttons can be used to test low and high frequency tones. The other two
buttons are the settings for the buzzer to make a sound on touches or not
. When the “
Buzzer ON
” button is
clicked, the buzzer is set to sound when the buttons are touched or the rotary encoders are rotated. When
the
“
Buzzer OFF
”
button is clicked, the buzzer's sound is turned off.
Curve Tracer calibration:
In the Tracer menu, an impedance curve should be formed as a horizontal (0 degrees) line when the probes
are idle, and a vertical (90 degrees) line when short circuited. Also, the size of the horizontal and vertical
lines must be 8 squares (end to end). If there is a deflection in these values, the performance of the device
can be increased by calibrating. Click
the “
CURVE TRACER
” button to enter the calibration menu.
