Check power source line voltage of ignitor.

Repair or replace harness or connector
between ignitor and ignition switch.

Check power source line voltage of ignition coil.

Repair harness or connector between ignitor
and ignition coil or replace ignitor.

Voltage: Battery voltage

Measure voltage between teB of ignition
coil connector and body ground.

(1) Connect ignitor connector.
(2) Disconnect ignition coil connector.
(3) Turn ignition switch ON.

Check ignition coil.

Primary coil resistance (cold):  0.41 – 0.50

Measure voltage between teB and E of
ignition coil connector.

CHECK PRIMARY COIL RESISTANCE

Voltage: Battery voltage

Measure voltage between teB of ignitor
connector and body ground.

(1) Disconnect ignitor connector.
(2) Turn ignition switch ON.

* However, when diag. code 14 is not displayed, proceed to next circuit inspection shown on matrix chart
