Replacement

Installation

11. Remove the 4 self-tapping screws securing the

spindle housing to the mower deck (Fig. 714).

1. Lift the mower deck and position the spindle assem-

bly to the mower deck opening (Fig. 716).

Note: Ensure the deck brake is positioned in the

groove of the pulley.

2. Install 4 self-tapping screws securing the spindle

housing to the mower deck. Torque each screw to
16.7 to 33.3 ft-lbs. (23 to 45 Nm) (Fig. 717).

12. Lift the mower deck and remove the mower deck

spindle (Fig. 715).
