46” Mower Deck - Lower Idler Bracket

Removal

1. Remove the mower deck from the tractor. Refer to

“46” Mower Deck Removal” on page 7-69.

2. Using 4x4 wooden blocks, or equivalent, raise the

rear of the mower deck off the fl oor.

3. Remove the large extension spring hooked from the

mower deck and lower idler bracket (Fig. 637).

5. Remove the bolt, shoulder spacer, and nut that

secures the lower idler bracket to the mower deck
(Fig. 639).

4. Remove the extension spring between the right and

left idler brackets (Fig. 638).
