8.  Install tire and check the brake operation again. If 

satisfactory brake adjustment/operation cannot be 
attained, the brake pucks require service. Refer 
to the Brake Maintenance section of Hydro-Gear 
manual 310-0510.

9.  With the parking brake released and the bypass 

lever in push mode, the rear wheels must rotate 
freely when you push the unit. If they do not rotate 
freely, repeat steps 1 through 8 above.

Throttle/Choke Cable Replacement

Removal

Note:  The steering wheel has been removed for 

photo purposes.

1.  Raise the hood (Fig. 354).

3.  Remove the two screws securing the fuel tank 

support rods to the tower supports (Fig. 356).

2.  Disconnect the fuel line from the fuel fi lter and drain 

all the fuel from the fuel tank into an approved
