d) Astigmatism axis options
Sets the display for the astigmatism axis.
Click “Astigmatism” (1) in the Map Options Menu and
select an option from the list.
● Off
Astigmatism axes are not displayed..
● Orthogonal
Displays SimK values on a major meridian (red) and a
minor meridian (blue).
Just like the meridians on the keratometer, the two axes
(major and minor meridians) always intersect at right
angles. If astigmatism is less than 0.25 D, the axes
cannot be displayed on the map.
