Emergency procedures

This section describes the process for initiating an emergency shutdown and the consequence of a
power failure.

Instrument emergency stop event

The instrument will automatically stop a running protocol if:

• The emergency stop button is activated. Safety relay contacts welded or intermittent
• Power is cut off to the rocker and pump motor
• The leakage sensor detects fluid leaking in the nest
• Overfill detector detects overfilling of the bag in the nest
• One of the pressor sensors detects sustained pressure over the threshold
• An internal error of the pump drive, rocker or valves is detected
