KnieAgil® Joints

User Manual SL2

We recommend setting the joint
to lock mode for the first use.
This way, you can be sure that
the joint locks in extension and
that the user has maximum
standing stability.

Lock mode should only be
deactivated for users who
dependably know how to
use the loaddependent brake!

Static Fitting

Upon delivery, every joint is set to a
basic setting.

Ask the patient to stand up. Remain
close, so you can support the patient
if necessary.

Individually adjust all components until
the patient is able to stand securely.
Optional adjustments are described in
the section “Dynamic Fitting”.

Dynamic Fitting

The joint settings listed below can be ad
justed if desired. We recommend following
the suggested order of adjustments.

Adjusting the Extension Speed

The extension assist spring is located in
the distal pylon adapter. It can be adjusted
by way of a slotted screw. The extension
assist is set to a medium extension speed
upon delivery.
