Alignment
The alignment of the KnieAgil® LD 31
should be based on the TKA line. The load
line of the socket should run along the front
edge of the superior anterior axis.
The A­P position of the adapter is adjus­
table, which also allows for adjustments
of the load line. A millimeter­scale makes
it easier to reproduce the result. Both the
pyramid adapter, the lamination anchor
and the threaded connector of the LD 31
can be adjusted in this manner.
Fastening torque of screw
connection between adapter and
knee joint must be 20 Nm!
The lock of the LD 31 offers two functions:
1.
When the joint is unlocked with the ca­
ble, the patient can flex his knee. Once
the knee is extended, it will automati­
cally and audibly lock again.
