Alignment

The alignment of the KnieAgil® L30
should be based on the TKA line.
The load line of the socket should run
along the front edge of the superior
anterior axis.

The lock of the L30 offers two functions:

When the joint is unlocked with the

  cable, the patient can flex his knee.
  Once the knee is extended, it will
  automatically and audibly lock again.

There is one Allen screw to the left

and one to the right of the lock. With

these screws, the lock can be perma
nently deactivated. Always tighten
these screws evenly.

Please note: The lock should only be deac
tivated once the patient is able to safely
walk and stand without a joint lock.
