Turning On the Quantum System

Perform the following steps to turn on the Quantum system.

1.

Open the incubator door.

2.

Confirm that the rotor covers are closed and that the rotor latches are locked on the four pumps on
the mounting plate. The rotor covers must be closed and the rotor latches must be locked before you
turn on the system.

3.

Close the incubator door.

4.

Confirm that the external gas supply is attached to the external gas connector. Table 17-3 includes
information about the gas supply requirements for the Quantum system.

5.

Turn the primary power switch on the back of the device to the on position.

6.

Turn the auxiliary power switch on the front of the device to the on position.
The home screen appears when the system is ready for use.

Turning Off the Quantum System

Perform the following steps to turn off the Quantum system.

1.

Close the incubator door.

2.

Turn the auxiliary power switch on the front of the device to the off position.

3.

Turn the primary power switch on the back of the device to the off position.

4.

Disconnect the external gas supply from the external gas connector.
