About this Manual

This manual is written for personnel who are responsible for operating the Quantum

®

Cell Expansion

System. It includes information and instructions on how to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain the
system. You should read and understand the information in this manual before operating the system.

Document Conventions

This document uses certain conventions to help you identify information. This section describes these
conventions.

Numbered Steps

All sequential, multiple-step instructions are numbered, as shown in the following example:

Attach the media bag to the cell line.

2.

Hang the bag on the bag pole.
