Same story over here, except that the request lines use extension ‘5002’ and the warm line is ‘5004,’ which is also removed from
the busy/block all cue. We make note of all this, and go to the Configuration Shows page and begin creating a new show. Again,
this can all be done during normal operation since none of the things we are doing require logging a Studio out of a Show.
Now, we need to create a new Show and assign these same extensions it. Notice that we’ve labelled both the Studio and the
Show the same to keep confusion at bay. In our example here, we created a show profile for 10 lines instead of 8 so that we
could manage the layout of the line positions on the VSet. (remember the VSet 12’s display is divided into two groups of 6)
leaving positions 5 and 6 blank, Show 1 is on the top display and Show 2 is on the bottom display of the VSet. This is totally
cosmetic and has no affect on operation. (except it dictates where on the VSet these lines show up)
