APPENDIX

Study the matrix and you’ll see how the mix is constructed for the mix minuses.  You’ll also notice that the new mix minuses 
are not routed to a physical output.  We are just doing this to create new Livewire streams to drive the input of the VX.  More on 
this after the following table.  To set a point, click it and select 0dB.  Make sure to click the 

ENABLE CUSTOM MODE

 link if you 

see it in the upper right-hand corner of the matrix.

(This is just an example.  The xNode’s mixer can be setup using a virtually endless number of ways, so you don’t have to do it 
this way. Poke around and do what’s right for you.)

After setting this up, return to the 

SOURCES

 page and make note of the new mix minuses LW channel numbers.  Finally, go 

to the VX studio, click 

ADVANCED RECEIVE

 and enter the channel numbers for the new Mix Minuses in the fields and select 

FROM SOURCE.
