Select Variable Gain; select
VAR: Off
, this changes it to VAR: On. Variable gain allows
you flexibility in changing the gain factor between 0.5x to 20.0x.
The limits of the variable gain change depending on the gain factor you select.
– 1.0x has a range of 0.25x to 2.00x gain.
– 2.0x has a range of 0.50x to 4.00x gain.
– 5.0x has a range of 1.25x to 10.00x gain.
– 10.0x has a range of 2.50x to 20.00x gain.
To adjust the gain:
•
On a touchscreen, use a pinch gesture to change the scale of the trace for large
increments.
•
For fine increments, select the plus or minus buttons to adjust the gain.
•
The scroll wheel on a mouse adjusts the variable gain.
•
Use the Reset icon ( ) to remove variable gain adjustments.
Horizontal and Vertical Position
Adjust the position of the trace display.
