Configure the Instrument

Upgrade Instrument Firmware

PRISM MPI-MPX User Manual

Note:

The upgrade may take up to five minutes.

7.

When the install is complete and the reboot options are available, select 

Reboot

 

Now

.

8.

Select the 

Activity 

icon ( ) to view the devices mounted to the instrument.

9.

Select the 

Eject 

icon (  ) to unmount the USB drive from the instrument.

10.

Remove the USB device from the PRISM monitor.

11.

Shut off the instrument:

Select 

Settings

Select 

Utilities

.

c.

Select 

Power

.

d.

Select 

Power Down Now

.

12.

Press the Power/Standby button on the instrument front panel to turn the 

instrument on. 

Verify Firmware Upgrade

1.

Select the 

Settings

 icon (

) to open the Settings menu.

2.

Select 

Utilities 

to open the Utilities  submenu.

3.

Select 

Version 

to open the Version  display.

4.

Verify the displayed firmware version number matches the version of the firmware 

upgrade package you installed.
