To Upgrade the Waveform Monitor Software

Run the Upgrade

13.

On the PC, double-click the

transfer.exe

file to launch the transfer program. This
displays the window shown at right.

14.

Type the network address (for example:
192.168.221.2) or DNS name of the
waveform monitor you want to update,
and then press Enter. This starts the
software upgrade process.

15.

The transfer utility asks you to enter
another IP address when the software
upgrade completes.

CAUTION.

Do not close the transfer.exe

window until the transfer utility asks for
another IP address.

When the software upgrade completes, the
waveform monitor will reboot.

16.

To update another waveform monitor,
begin at step 5 and skip step 12. If you
won’t be updating another waveform
monitor, press

Enter

to exit the transfer

utility.

Verifying the Upgrade

After you have completed the software upgrade, the instrument will reboot and come up in the touchscreen calibration mode.
Follow the instructions that appear on screen to complete the upgrade.
