ALIGNING THE TREAD-BELT MOTOR DRIVE-BELT

only as far as removing the upper guard.

Remove the dust guard.

Release the spring

(a)

of the belt tensioning

mechanism.

Use a straight reference rod, resting it on the
pulley

(b)

of the motor roller to align the belt

(c)

by shifting it within the races of the two

pulleys.
