7.1.3 Transportation Packaged
The inverter with the package can be moved by use of forklifts, forks of
hoists or cranes. The transportation is shown in Figure 7-1.
The weight of the inverter, the position of the center of gravity and lifting
logo on the package are required to note when moving the inverter. The
equipment shall be provided with a sufficient carrying capacity and a
reasonable lay-out support or lifting point is required.
The forklift transportation (a standard transportation method) is shown in
Figure 7-1A.
The center of gravity on the box shall fall onto the middle of the two
forks of the forklift during the transportation.
A greater size of the inverter may block the driver’s line of sight, so
supporting staff is required.
Hoist transportation packaged shown in Figure 7-1B.
Rings must be used and the lifting point must be designed according
to the signs on the package.
