Base station settings
PBX
When operating the telephone on a private
branch exchange (PBX), e.g. in a company,
office) external and internal numbers can
be differentiated using the public access
code.
Public access code
The exchange identification code is dialled
as a prefix to the subscriber number,
provided the subscriber number has at least
6 digits.
With direct dialling (without off-line call
preparation), no public access prefix is
dialled.

Select "Public access".

Enter up to 4 digits.

The public access code is now
stored.
Note:
The public access code must be set on each
handset.
Incoming code
Some PBXs automatically insert the public
access code for an incoming call. With this
type of PBX "Incoming code" will need to
be activated, for call back from the call
register to function properly.

Automatic ECT
You can check for yourself, whether you
require the function "Autom. ECT"
(switching with disconnect).
You are in the middle of a call

(inquiry call).

Enter subscriber number.

If your two call partners are not switched
now, you need to activate "Autom. ECT".
Automatic keypad
If e.g. you wish to control a PBX by sending
information, you will need to activate "Aut.
keypad".
