Setting up the telephone and putting it into service

Inserting the back plate

Insert the back plate in the groove
of the base station and press it on
lightly.

Make sure that the support tab

on the back of the back plate clicks
into the slot provided.

There is a definite click when the
back plate is properly seated.

Note:

The angle of the back plate is fixed.
If the back plate (wing) is not inserted, the
handset cannot be charged.

Removing the back plate

Hold the base station with your
thumbs.

With your index fingers apply light
upward pressure at points
