Setting up the telephone and putting it into service

Inserting the batteries in the
handset

Remove the battery compartment
cover by lightly pressing on the
upper edge of the cover and sliding
it downwards.

Insert the 3 batteries in the battery
compartment (as shown). Make
sure the polarity is correct.

Replace the battery compartment
cover and slide it back until it clicks
into place.

Note:

If the batteries are inserted incorrectly, the
handset will not function; damage might
result.
Only use the same type or brand of batteries
in the compartment at any given time.
