To vary the intensity of the mark,
loosen the bolts (B-Figure 11) and
register the angle of attack of the
disc.
In a well prepared soil, a soft mark
will be clearly visible; while in no-till
seeding will require a more visible
marking set up.
Regulation of the No-till Cultivation disc
The 16” ftutted turbo coulter blades function to cut the
rests of the last year’s crop; Stubble and make way for
the opener discs to penetrate soil deep.
This one must be in the same line as the opener discs´.
If it is necessary to move them, you must loosen the bolt
A in Figure 16 of the adjusting wedge/chocks, by doing
this, relocation is possible.
Displacement can also be achieved (although, Limited)
by turning the coulter blade shank B for what besides
setting loose the bolt A, you must loosen bolt C from the
rod clamp.
This last option is done sometimes when there is little
space to move the whole unit.
The depth of the cut is regulated lifting or lowering the
shank B of course after losing the bolt A or also the spring base coupling. By doing this the
coulter blade´s arm can be registered as desired.
Generally the depth at which it must work is slightly a bit more than the depth of the opener
discs, approximately 2 centimeters deeper than these.
Be aware of the position of the markers AT ALL TIME, because these could damage fence
posts, fences, nearby machinery, vehicles, electricity cables, people, animals, etc.
