Servicing - General

WARNING

– Appropriate precautions for safe working must

be made for all servicing work.

– As well as the usual occupational safety guideli-

nes, the safety notes speciﬁcally outlined in this

brochure must also be adhered to.

– Whenever you are working on the hydraulic

system, ensure that the entire system is de-

pressurised. This is particularly important when

working on trucks with built-in accumulators.

– Unplug the battery plug before carrying out any

servicing work (except functional tests).

– Only electricians from the appropriate service

station may carry out work on the electrical

system.

To ensure the safe operation of your industrial

truck over a long period of time, it is absolutely

essential that you carry out thorough servicing

in a correct manner at the prescribed intervals.

The servicing work is described in the service

schedule and must be carried out by trained,

specialist personnel. We recommend using

our genuine spare parts, which can be found

on the spare parts list. Fitting other parts will

invalidate the warranty. Our dedicated service

will assist you with all your queries on care and

servicing. We offer you the opportunity to sign

up for warranty agreements with us and can

carry out regular safety inspections for you.

Service frequencies and times

Servicing is carried out at six-month intervals.

You can use the service schedule to determine

what work is required. The service interval is

reduced for trucks exposed to high levels of

dust and signiﬁcant temperature ﬂuctuations.

A functional and status check must be carried

out during each service.

NOTE

Only regular servicing will enable you to make

full use of the warranty.
