Operation

Control devices

• The switches are all functioning correctly.
• The parking brake has been released.

NOTE

The parking brake is released as soon as the

accelerator pedal is actuated slightly.

Trucks with two accelerators pedals (dual-

pedal controller)
The hydraulic functions are only enabled if:
• The seat switch has been actuated.
• The switch is functioning correctly.
The driving function is only enabled if:
• The seat switch has been actuated but the

accelerator pedals have NOT.

• One of the accelerator pedals is then

actuated.

• The switches are all functioning correctly.
• The parking brake has been released.

NOTE

The parking brake is released as soon as one

of the accelerator pedals is actuated slightly.

Monitoring

The seat switch is monitored electrically. If the

truck remains switched on for longer than 8

hours, the switch status of the seat switch must

change at least once. In normal operation, this

happens automatically during operation. If

this is not the case, a corresponding message

appears on the display. The seat switch must

be released and then actuated once again.

If the seat switch is defective, a display will

appear.
If one of the switches stops working during

operation, the truck is braked to a standstill or

to a speed of 2.5 km/h, according to truck type,

and a corresponding message appears in the

display.
The seat switch monitors whether or not a

driver is at his workplace. The seat switch

must be actuated together with the foot

switch and either the accelerator pedal or

the operating devices for the hydraulics in the
