Maintenance

Maintenance plan

Brake
• Check the function of the foot switch.
• Check seat switch function.
• Check the function of the reverse brake.
• Check the thickness and condition of the

brake lining and replace if necessary.

• Check the brake release clearance,

(0.4–1.0 mm).

• If the brake release clearance is outside

the tolerance, check the function of the

automatic friction adjustment.

• Blow out the brake lining with oil-free air.

Caution: abrasion is hazardous to your

health, use a protective mask.

• Check the brake retardation values after

each adjustment (dynometer or VZM).

• Check the function of the automatic brak-

ing*. Observe the functional description for

the order.

• Checking the inductive transmitter / photo

eyes*.

Undercarriage
• Check doors, lids and cover for function,

secure mounting and condition.

• Visually check the welded seams on

the overhead guard, carrying out a dye

penetration test procedure if you suspect

there are cracks.

• Visually check the overhead guard for

damage and deformations.

• Check the function and condition of the rail

switches*.

• Check that the support screws in the

chassis have the correct setting. Compare

the set values with the speciﬁcations on the

nameplate.

Lifting system

CAUTION

Risk of accident
The main lifting chains and the auxiliary lifting chain

must be replaced after 5000 operating hours, even

if the wear limit of 2% has not yet been reached.

Follow the current applicable guidelines for cold
