Driving

Setting the steering column

CAUTION

Danger of accidents
All settings are to be performed at standstill of the

truck only.

Unscrew the clamping screw, (5)bring the

steering column into the required position and

tighten clamping screw (5). Check that it is

tightly screwed in.

Individual adjustment of the driver’s seat

CAUTION

All settings are to be performed at standstill of the

• Longitudinal adjustment push the driver’s

seat forwards or back.

• Backrest adjustment
• Weight adjustment

NOTE

The driver’s seat must always be adjusted to

the individual weight of the driver. Otherwise,

there is a risk of damage to the driver’s seat.

Pedal operation

There are three pedals in the footwell in

front of the driver’s seat. The foot switch is

actuated with pedal (1). If the seat switch is

also activated, the controller recognises that

there is a driver in the workplace and enables

the truck’s functions.
Pedal (3) can be used for continuously vari-

able and accurate control of the driving speed.

The drive direction is selected with the drive

direction switches in the joystick.
Pedal (2) can be used for continuously vari-

able and accurate braking. If both pedals (2

and 3) are accidentally actuated at the same

time, the brake pedal always overrides the

accelerator pedal.
