Maintenance

Maintenance plan

• Check the condition of the contactors and

for erosion, replacing if necessary.

• Check the fuse values and condition.

NOTE

Battery maintenance is not part of the truck

maintenance and must be carried out in accor-

dance with the guidelines from the respective

battery manufacturer. The maintenance ope-

rations described in the Battery maintenance

section of this manual are important and must

be carried out in addition to the speciﬁcations

from the battery manufacturer.

Hydraulic system

NOTE

The load support must be fully lowered

when the oil level in the hydraulic oil tank is

checked. The oil level must be between the

two inspection glasses.

• Check the entire hydraulic system for leak

tightness and function.

• Check the oil level in the tank and top up if

necessary; see note on the tank.

• Check all hydraulic screw joints for leaks

and tighten or replace as necessary.

• Check the operating noises of the pump

motor.

• Replace the hydraulic oil ﬁlter and the air

ﬁlter on the hydraulic oil tank.

Other checks
• Check of all operating devices for function

and condition.

• Check protective devices depending on the

equipment, repairing if necessary.

• Check all nameplates, decal information

and warning signs or load capacity dia-

grams to make sure they are present and

legible. Missing or illegible signs must be

replaced.

• Check all optional and additional equipment

for function and condition. See the order.
