Optional Equipment

Inductive guidance IZF

System description

A frequency generator supplies AC to a wire

installed in the ﬂoor. This AC is registered as a

signal by a load-side and a drive-side antenna

and is evaluated for guiding the truck.
After signal evaluation, a computer guides the

truck along the wire groove. Extensive safety

circuits and a diagnostic program simplify the

diagnostic work of the system.
The operating devices for inductive guidance

are integrated into the operating panel. The

operating status display indicates the active

operating status of the system. After switching

on, a self-test runs in the steering control

system.

Guided procedure

NOTE

The closer the truck is driven to the centre of

the wire groove before the system switches to

wire search, the quicker the guided procedure

is completed.

– Drive the truck towards the wire groove

(induction track) with manual steering and

stop in front of it.

– The angle to the wire groove must not be

greater than 60°.

– Set the steering to the straight-ahead

position.

– Press the IZF selection key (1) in the

operating panel. The wire search displays

(2) start to light up or to ﬂash.
