1 Aluminium-lined mineral fibre shell
2 Thermally insulated refrigerant lines
- In addition to the thermal insulation, use aluminium-lined
mineral fibre shells (min. thickness 20 mm) to minimise ge-
neral and flow noise.
- Use suitable anti-vibration pipe clips to secure refrigerant
lines.
- Secure the pipe clips on the outside over the alumini-
um-lined mineral fibre shells
- Never install pipe clips near pipe bends.
- Never secure refrigerant lines to internal walls that border
living areas or bedrooms.
- Ensure that no strain can be placed on the soldered
connections.

10.5.3 Connecting refrigerant lines
!
Material damage
Commissioning below+5 °C is only permissible if the
pre-installed refrigerant lines are perfectly sealed and
their ends point downwards, thereby preventing the in-
gress of dirt and water. Purge the refrigerant lines tho-
roughly with nitrogen.

Remove the protective caps from the connection pipes using
a suitable tool.
External unit
Note
The external unit is filled with nitrogen. When the pro-
tective caps are removed, the nitrogen escapes.

Use the female soldering connections contained in the stan-
dard delivery to connect the refrigerant lines to the units.
Female soldering connections are supplied in imperial and
metric dimensions.

Ensure that thermal insulation is not damaged during sol-
dering work and that neither moisture nor dirt is allowed to
penetrate the refrigerant circuit.
