After that, the heat pump and the associated buffer primary pump
are switched on.
f

Press the programming key again or close the control flap to
exit the parameter.
OFF is displayed.

RELAY TEST
From here the following relay outputs of the heat pump manager
can be individually controlled:
- BUFFER
- DHW VALVE
- DRAIN HYD (this is the centre position of the DHW valve)
- HTG CIRC PUMP
- MIXER PUMP
- MIXER OPEN
- MIXER CLOSED
- DHC 1
- DHC 2
- HP ON
f
f
Press the programming key and turn the rotary selector.
The individual outputs are displayed as plain text.
46
LCD TEST
Here you can initiate a test of the LCD display.
f
f
Press the programming key once to initiate the LCD test.
All display elements are displayed in sequence.
47
FAULT LIST
This displays any fault codes that may arise.
f
f
Press the programming key to show the first fault code.
The fault is shown at the top of the display as plain text; the fault
number appears at the bottom of the display.
f
f
Turn the rotary selector to display additional information.
The first fault continues to be displayed. The day, month, year and
time when the fault occurred are displayed by way of additional
information.
In total, 20 faults can be displayed.
f
f
You can delete the fault list by carrying out a hardware reset.
Example:
A HP FAULT occurred on the 17/07/2012 at 14:50 h representing
the latest fault in the heat pump.

ANALYSIS
The enabled stages are shown on the display.
The two-digit display shows the internal control unit calculation.
A stage is switched each time the counter goes down to zero.
This calculation depends on the control dynamic and the control
deviation. For this, see CNTRL RESP TM.
51
DIAGNOSIS
This checks whether an FEK control unit is connected.
f
f
Press the programming key.
52
MAN DEFROST
Manual defrost can only be initiated when the heat pump is in
operation.
The flow temperature at the condenser is monitored during de-
frosting. If the flow temperature falls below 15 °C, the electric
emergency/booster heater is started, independent of the dual
mode point, to provide additional heating.
However, if during defrosting the flow temperature falls to 10 °C,
the heat pump is switched off and the electric emergency/booster
heater regulates to the set heating circuit temperature.
The DEFROSTING fault is displayed.
53
HEAT P RESET
Here you can reset the heat pump in the event of a fault.
f
f
Press the programming key.
f
f
Go to the setting ON.
f
f
Press the programming key repeatedly.
The fault is reset. The heat pump restarts once a blocking time of
2 minutes has elapsed. The fault remains stored in the fault list.
54
RUNTIME
Pressing the programming key will successively call up the run-
times of the compressor and electric emergency/booster heater
in hours. These runtimes can only be reset via a hardware reset.
