8.

The instrument is now loaded. Repeat the procedure for instrument loading until up
to a total of 4 non-stapler and 2 stapler instruments are loaded. Note the
arrangement of hoses in the image below. The longer hoses, marked with blue or
green, should ONLY be used for stapler instruments in the front two positions. DO
NOT use the longer hoses in other positions as this may interfere with basket
loading and wash operations.

9.

Any hose NOT connected to an instrument
MUST be removed before docking the baskets
in the carrier. To detach a hose from a port,
push the retaining clip tab until the hose
connector is released, then pull the hose
connector out of the port.

WARNING

Hoses and instruments should NEVER extend outside the limits of a basket.

l

ALWAYS make sure that instruments are located correctly in a basket.

l

ALWAYS remove all unused hoses from baskets before docking into the
carrier.

l

ONLY use the hoses and connectors supplied with a basket type, and
DO NOT mix and use hoses from other baskets.
