Use of Chemicals

The sonic irrigator has been designed to connect to detergent and lubricant bottles.
Chemicals are stored in the sonic irrigator chemical enclosure and are drawn up
through chemical pickups when required by wash program settings.

Inside the chemical enclosure, a detergent
bottle is put on a tray on the left side, and the
detergent pickup hose connects to a port on the
left side, marked

CHEMICAL PORT 1

, and

indicated by

A

in the image. A lubricant bottle is

put on a tray on the right side, and the lubricant
pickup hose connects to a port on the right side,
marked

CHEMICAL PORT 2

, and indicated by

B

in the image.

Detergent is required during the main wash stage of a wash program. Lubricant
usage can be setup in the supervisor menu and delivered during the disinfection
stage of a wash program. If lubricant is not required by the wash program, a
lubricant bottle does not need to be present.

The quantity of chemical in each tray in the
chemical

enclosure

is

monitored

through

automatically weighing the bottle on each tray.
Do not put anything other than the chemical
being used on the tray, as this will lead to false
detection of chemical quantity. If the quantity of
chemical detected is not sufficient for the
requirements of the wash cycle, a warning
appears on the display. The chemical bottle should be replaced, and then confirmed
on the display.
