Intended Purpose of Equipment

The STERIS InnoWave™ Pro Sonic Irrigator is high-pressure, ultrasonic, flushing

washer disinfector for the healthcare market. It is intended to provide cleaning and
intermediate-level thermal disinfection of surgical instruments, including lumened
devices.

Cleaning is achieved through a combination of ultrasonic cavitation and low-

frequency cannulated pulse enhancement (CPE) fluid recirculation to dislodge and
flush away unwanted debris from both the outside and inside surfaces (hollow
instruments only) of items placed in the tank.

IMPORTANT

If this equipment is used in a manner NOT specified by manufacturer,
effectiveness and protection provided by equipment may be impaired.

IMPORTANT

This equipment has been validated for the cleaning and intermediate- level
thermal disinfection of surgical instruments and devices, including complex
lumen/cannulated surgical instrument and robotic surgical instruments.
Testing to validate cleaning and disinfection efficacy for a specific instrument
is the responsibility of the instrument manufacturer. Consult the instrument
manufacturer's instructions on cleaning and disinfection.
