Si Multi Basket — Attaching and Detaching Nozzles

1.

Nozzles should be attached and detached when the basket is empty. Make sure all
instruments are removed from the basket before attaching or detaching nozzles.

2.

If preparing the two outermost basket
positions for a stapler instrument, use a
single-outlet nozzle, indicated by '

A

' below.

For all other Si instruments, use a dual-port
nozzle, indicated by '

B

' below.

3.

To connect a nozzle, push the nozzle into
the basket port until a 'click' is heard and the
nozzle is held firmly in place by the securing
clip.

4.

Make sure a connected nozzle is fully inserted. There should be NO visible gap
between the nozzle shaft and the basket flush port. If a gap is visible, the nozzle is
not correctly connected.
