7.1.2 LED Indicator Lights

Power ON LED Indicator Light

When the gi4000 ESU is connected to the AC mains power
supply source and the power ON/OFF switch is in the ON
position (denoted by an “I”), a

GREEN

LED located above

the power ON/OFF switch will illuminate. This LED light
provides a visual indicator to the operator that the gi4000
ESU is powered ON. If this LED does not illuminate as
expected, reference section

12.2 Troubleshooting

of this

manual.

Lavage Pump Flow Setting Indicator Lights

The gi4000 ESU features an integrated lavage
pump  which  is  controlled  by  the  flow
adjustment buttons located to the right of the
touchscreen display.  When the gi4000 ESU is
connected  to  the  AC  mains  power  supply
source and the power ON/OFF switch is in the
ON  position  (denoted  by  an  “I”),  the  lavage
pump  is  active.    The  pump  activates  at  a
default  flow  rate  (Setting  3)  and  can  be
adjusted  by  pressing  the  UP  and  DOWN
arrows  located  to  the  LEFT  of  the  LED
indicators.  The number of

illuminated  indicates  the  flow  rate  setting;
increasing the number of LED lights increases
the  lavage  flow  rate  and  decreasing  the
number  of  LED  lights  decreases  the  lavage
flow rate.

Lavage Pump Activation LED Indicator
Light

Although  the  lavage  pump  is  always
functional  when  the  gi4000  system  is
powered ON, lavage is only active when the
irrigation  pedal  is  engaged.    When  the
irrigation  pedal  is  pressed,  the  lavage  pump
activation  LED  will  illuminate
