7. Connect the 8-mm to 4-mm monopolar test adaptor to the Monopolar Receptacle on

the front panel of the gi4000 ESU.

8. Connect the active electrode test lead(s) to the monopolar test adapter on the front

panel of the gi4000 ESU.

9. Connect the monopolar test lead to the active input receptacle on the ESU Analyzer.
10. Connect the neutral electrode leads to the PSS receptacle on the front panel of the

gi4000 ESU.

11. Connect the neutral electrode leads to the ESU analyzer.
12. For this test, the following monopolar output mode(s) shall be measured:

a.  TouchSoft® COAG
b.  COAG
c.  BLEND COAG
d.  BLEND CUT
e.  CUT

13. Reference 00732974 Preventative Maintenance Test Data Summary Sheet

– gi4000

ESU for applicable test settings for each monopolar mode.

14. Record the measured value from ESU Analyzer for each mode at each output power
