8.3.3.14 Process steps
Overview of the process steps:

The functions are defined over the “Edit” button.
The numbers of parameters are defined by operating the “PARAM”
button.
By dissecting the process into individual steps programming will
later get much easier, and erroneous entries can be avoided to a
great extent.
Each process step is defined with clear text (e.g. heating, cooling, etc.), and it is displayed with clear text as well for process
step selection during program entry and even during the program execution.

A process step decides whether e.g. a set value in the currently to be entered segment can be inputted (set value release =
free) during program input or if the value from the previous segment is taken over (set value release = blocked) automatically
instead of that whereby a value input is then needless and not allowed. For digital tracks exists the possibility on the one
hand to allow an input (digital track release = release), or if this should not be allowed to pre-set the appropriate digital track
to “On”, “Off” or “Take-over” (digital track release = On/Off/Take-over).

If the number of process steps is reduced or the release definitions of set values or digital
ATTENTION! tracks changed, already created programs can be affected by that!
Possibly used process steps are no longer available in before written set value programs or were defined in
another way; these programs must then necessarily be deleted manually or at least be revised manually.
