Configuring ET Input

1 Before moving on, make sure you have connected the ET device.

Turn the dial to

ADVANCED

Now the display looks like this:

Important!

If for some reason your weather stations fails and

does not provide any input for the Ranger 4000 S the controller
will fall back on historical ET data and use these instead. The
same goes in case of a power failure ‐ the controller will use the
historical data for the part of today that lies before the power
failure, and then use real‐time ET data from when it is powered
up again.

Bottom line: you should always enter a set of historical ET data
