WARNING 

Never reach into the inner parts of the wheel suspension. Have any work carried out by an authorized 
service center. 

 

 

 

5.17  DRIVES INSIDE OF THE CHASSIS WINGS 

 

WARNING

 

Make sure the engine is switched off before checking the drive. Before checking, remove the key from 
the CENTRAL STOP button on the mower. 

 

1)  Place the mower on a flat and firm surface, press CENTRAL STOP on both remote control and the 

mower and remove the key. 

2)  Arrange for access to the drive elements. 
3)  Check the belt tension by applying a slight thumb pressure between the pulleys. 
4)  Check the chain tension by applying a slight thumb pressure in the middle of the section 
5)  If the tension is insufficient, loosen the tensioner pulley nuts and tension. 
6)  After tensioning, tighten the screws. 
7)  If any part is damaged or worn, replace it. 
8)  Cover the wing. 
 

For better access to belt and chain tension on the left, unlock the tank strap and tilt the tank. Carry out 

maintenance on the drive and fasten the tank properly back in place. Make sure that no fuel leaks when 
handling the tank! 

 

 

The drive belts are maintenance-free. Replace them in case of excessive wear. Check this on the left and right
