5.13 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
INSPECTION (OPERATION)
Make sure the entire electrical equipment works properly.
All defective parts must be repaired before use.
CHARGING THE RC BATTERY
1. Slide the battery from the controller
2. Connect the charger to the car cigarette lighter socket.
3. Insert the battery into the charger (the green and orange LEDs lights are on and the battery is charging).
4. When charging is complete, the orange LED turns off.
NOTE
: Leave the battery in the charger as needed (the charger monitors the battery and does not overcharge the
battery). If the battery used in the controller is low, replace it with a charged battery
FUSES
Electrical circuits are protected by a fuse. If the fuse blows, find out why this occurred before installing a new one.
The fuse is located in the control unit.
WARNING:
Use only fuses with the specified ampere rating. This will prevent damage to the electrical system.
BATTERY MAINTENANCE
Check the battery cleanness at regular intervals.
Keep terminals and clamps clean of dust and corrosion. Terminal corrosion may affect battery performance and
may pose a safety hazard. If you notice corrosion, disconnect the battery, loosen and remove the clamps, and
remove the corrosion by spraying the terminals and clamps with a weak solution of baking soda and water (sodium
bicarbonate). Apply the anti-corrosion emulsion again before reconnecting the clamps. Always keep proper records
of maintenance.
DO NOT REMOVE THE BATTERY SAFETY VALVE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES AND NEVER ADD
WATER.
HOW TO MAINTAIN THE BATTERY
To achieve maximum storage battery life, the average annual storage temperature must
be 15 ° C. Short-term
temperature may n
ot exceed 25 ° C, otherwise the battery life may be affected.
1) Remove the battery from the mower.
2) Find a cool and dry place to store the battery.
3) Make sure the battery is fully charged and recharge it approximately every two months.
HOW TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY
1) Ensure safe operation of the mower. See also:
2) Check the access to the battery. See also:
3) Turn off the power switch.
4) Disconnect the battery terminals. First, disconnect the ground terminal (-).
WARNING:
Do not disconnect the battery while the engine is running, as this may damage the electrical circuits.
