-- Remote Ready Screen --
NOTE:
The number of aisles ready to access will depend on the particular
system. The diagnostic unit will automatically determine the
number of aisles in the module.
While in the remote control mode, pressing the numeric keys on the keypad will enter the next
aisle to access in the system. A short beep will sound to indicate each key pressed. The entered
aisle number should appear in the
Next Aisle -
position, by the blinking underscore. If the
entered value is too high, for instance aisle 5 on a 3 aisle system, the entered value will be erased
and the user will be expected to reenter a proper value. If the entered number is not correct,
press the backspace arrow key to remove the incorrect number and reenter it. If the entered value
is correct, press the ENTER key and the system will immediately begin a movement sequence.
To stop carriage movement from the diagnostic unit, the red STOP key may be pressed at any
time during the movement cycle. It has the same effect as pressing a stop button on the mobile
system face panel controls. This does not work for the Power Pro system because it does not
have a stop loop.
If the diagnostic unit does not accept an aisle number, the display will not indicate
Ready
on the
bottom line. Instead, the display's bottom line will indicate the status of the system that is
preventing the remote operation. The problem must be corrected at the system before the status
line will again indicate
Ready, Able to Access
. The status line messages and their meanings are
as follows:
--- The Module is Off ---
This status line means that the module has been turned off. The system must be reactivated with
the system ON/OFF key (or keyswitch for Power Pro) before remote operation can be initiated.
--- The Module is Security Locked ---
When this status line is displayed, it means the system security lock has been activated and no
operation is possible until the system security lock is unlocked.
