4-3-3. Checking the Lines Connecting the
Delegate and Chairman Units

Set bit 1 and bit 2 to check the corresponding line 1 to
4.

Connect the

D/C units which are known to be good to
the selected line.

Turn on the main power.

LED D2 to D5 lights corresponding to lines 1 to 4. If
an error occurs, the LED blinks.

4-3-1. Checking the CPU
Check the CPU in the following order:

Bit switch settings

To enable the SIO check of the SX-M700/M100 to be
performed, short pins 1 and 2, and pins 3 and 4 of
CN1.

Turn on the main power, or press the RESET switch.

Perform the above steps 1 through 4. The
corresponding LEDs from D2 to D4 turn on. If an error
occurs, the bit blinks. If no errors occur, LEDs D2 to
D9 turn on.

IPU which is known to be good.

Turn on the main power.

Each time a key on the display panel is pressed, the
LED toggles between lit and blinking. If the SLOW
button of the IPU is pressed, three LEDs turn on.
